City Lawyers Call Latest NFR Eminent Domain Challenge Just ‘Another Delay Tactic’

Daniel Spitzer was recently quoted in an article in the Niagara Gazette titled, “City Lawyers Call Latest NFR Eminent Domain Challenge Just ‘Another Delay Tactic.’” In it, Dan accused Niagara Falls Redevelopment (NFR) of trying to stall the City of Niagara Falls’ efforts to obtain property through eminent domain.

The New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division Fourth Department recently ruled the City does have the legal grounds to take some of NFR’s land holdings and use the property “for a public purpose.” NFR is now asking the Court to allow it to re-argue that ruling.
